For the various projects I have worked on during my college years, I have demonstrated my ability to lead and collaborate with a team in the area of video production.
One of the most important aspects of my college experience was participating in group projects in different courses. These projects involved working closely with fellow students, each bringing their own unique perspectives and strengths to the table. I learned the importance of clear communication, assigning tasks based on individual strengths, and the value of feedback to improve the end result. And this came across well in some of my video projects.

In my video project Who paid the Bill I created this video with two other friends. The process of creating a video involves collaborating on the time and place, compiling the script, deciding on the characters, and filming the parts. At the beginning of the process I planned a detailed schedule for the filming and production of the video as well as a series of plans to mobilize the team. During the creation of the video, I led discussions on the scripting of our video and took on the role of director for the team. I took the initiative in coordinating our efforts to ensure that it was completed on time and that all members contributed equally. Although there were issues with locations and re-shoots during the shoot, I was patient and resolved these issues. This allowed the team to work together without any unnecessary hassles that might have caused us to fall behind schedule. This experience emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving a common goal.

I also have the ability to work together on other videos. For the Time Trap project, my team member Aaron preferred to take the lead on the shoot, and I chose to collaborate with him on the shoot. I was able to give my input and suggestions to the planning of the shoot. This will allow us to have a better understanding of each other during the shoot. Although it was the first time for us to work together, we were able to make it go smoothly through our own abilities.
And these experiences have helped me grow personally and professionally. I learned that effective collaboration and leadership requires not only taking control of the situation, but also listening, adapting, and accepting new ideas. I believe these skills will be invaluable throughout my college career, allowing me to make positive contributions to any team or organization I join.
